First Post

For many years I scoffed at the idea of making a personal blog. I thought that since I didn’t already have an “audience”, I’d have to be some kind of major egoist to believe anyone would care to read the type of things I’d want to blog about. I decided that this was the ultimate truth and put the thought out of my mind. Recently, I began thinking about it again, and realized that an opportunity to write at length about my passions and my musings about them was something that very much appealed to me. I could have my very own soapbox, and I would get to build it myself? Beautiful.
